Greyhound Rescue Association of Ireland (GRAI) are organizing their third annual Walk for Greyhounds in Dublin this coming June 16th, at Merrion Square Park. It is a great event to bring awareness to the public about greyhounds and other sighthounds as pets, as well as a fun day out for dogs and their families. I designed the poster for this year’s Walk featuring photography from the 2012 Walk, including musician Sharon Shannon. GRAI always invite a few celebrities who are supporters of greyhounds or animal welfare, which helps to raise the profile of the event and increase media coverage. We hope to have a good crowd this year and we invite anyone who is in the area or interested in greyhounds to come along, and all dogs are welcome, not just greyhounds.
